Eoghan Rua O'Neill 375
Eoghan Rua Ó Néill (c.1580–1649), the famous Irish military leader, was the nephew of Hugh O'Neill, 2nd Earl of Tyrone. Eoghan Rua died in Cavan in 1649. This programme of events will look at different elements of Eoghan Rua Ó Néill’s story. With events including drama, music and history, you are invited to come and find out more about this iconic man. Events till take place 7-10 November 2024 throughout a range of venues in County Cavan.
Cavan Monaghan Science Festival 2024
The Cavan Monaghan Science Festival is back from the 11th - 17th November 2024 and we are very excited about this years line-up. With events on Running with Catherina McKiernan, The Regeneration of Dunsany Estate, Cosmetic Making Workshops with the Bee Barn there is something for everyone. With lots of events for adults throughout the week, we will focus on having lots of fun on Saturday the 16th of November where all the family can join in our Family Fun Day in Kingscourt Community Centre.
