The aim of 'A Century of Change', a project by Irish Life and Lore, was to record and catalogue the testimony of up to 300 individuals who themselves, or their immediate families, have helped to create the vibrant Ireland in which we live and work today.

 

Cavan Library Service is delighted to offer free access to Part 1 and Part 2 of the recordings.

1922-2022: A Century of Change (Part I)

The 133 interviewees in part one of the three-part collection include leaders in business and finance, in the arts and culture arenas, in media, agriculture, education, politics, engineering and architecture, health, defense forces, and sport.

1922-2022: A Century of Change (Part 2)

The 86 interviewees in part two of the three-part collection include leaders in business and finance, in the community and in the arenas of arts and culture; experts in agriculture, education, media and politics; practitioners of engineering and architecture and owners of Irish Country Houses.
