Cruinniú na nÓg is Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18, taking place every June. It’s the only event of its kind in the world, offering free, local, and hands‑on creative activities in every city, town, and village across the country. From art, music, theatre, dance and coding to circus skills, animation and more, Cruinniú na nÓg celebrates the limitless creative potential of Ireland’s youth.
Developed as a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan, the day is delivered in partnership with Ireland’s local authorities and supported by RTÉ. Thousands of young people take part each year, exploring new ideas, learning new skills, and expressing themselves in fun, inclusive and inspiring ways.
