My Little Library Bag
Libraries across County Cavan have a FREE 'My Little Library Bag' for every child starting school this year. Each bag contains two fabulous books, one on starting school and one on making friends, a special library card wallet and a range of resources for parents and children to support the transition to primary school.
Cruinniú na nÓg
Ireland is the first, and only, country in the world to have a national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. Cruinniú na nÓg is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme’s Creative Youth Plan to enable the creative potential of children and young people on Saturday 7 June 2025

Harnessing the creative potential of our people and communities is a cornerstone of the Creative Ireland Programme.
