Sensory Toy Library
Cavan Libraries Sensory Toy Collection is available for lending from Virginia Library and is designed to offer support to children and adults with learning difficulties, disabilities, or other additional needs. Parents, families, teachers, and caregivers of people within County Cavan can borrow from the collection for free of course.
My Little Library Bag
Libraries across County Cavan have a FREE 'My Little Library Bag' for every child starting school this year. Each bag contains two fabulous books, one on starting school and one on making friends, a special library card wallet and a range of resources for parents and children to support the transition to primary school.

Harnessing the creative potential of our people and communities is a cornerstone of the Creative Ireland Programme. Cavan County Council has established Creative Cavan, Culture and Creativity Team which brings together local expertise in arts, heritage, libraries, enterprise and community engagement, to foster collaboration and spark new initiatives.
