Johnston Central Library host's a “Local Studies Clinic” for people who are interested in local history, doing a school project, compiling a family tree or even researching a book.
You can make an appointment to meet with Jonathan Smyth for a twenty-minute session. Jonathan’s knowledge of local history in Cavan is legendary and this is a wonderful opportunity to learn a little from his vast scholarship.
