Free Heart Health Checks with the Irish Heart Foundation at Johnston Central Library

As part of Heart Failure Awareness Week 2026, Cavan Library Service is delighted to welcome the Irish Heart Foundation to Johnston Central Library on Tuesday, 5 May, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm. This is a great opportunity to take a few minutes for your heart health — with free, confidential checks and expert advice available on the day. What’s on offer? ❤️ Mobile Health Unit (outside the Library) Two experienced nurses will provide: Blood pressure and pulse checks Individual heart health assessments Personalised advice ❤️ Heart Failure Awareness Nurse (inside the Library) Free, one-to-one confidential consultations Opportunity to ask questions and learn more about heart failure and heart health Why take part?
