Level 4 Restrictions - We're still providing great services ONLINE!

Due to Level 4 restrictions our library branches across Co. Cavan will be closed to the public until 10th November 2020. Our services have moved online with some great options for library members. Now is the perfect time to try out our Online Library for free access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, digital newpapers, language learning, online courses and much more. We have some great online events for children and adults available on our Events section of www.cavanlibrary.ie. We also are continuing our Delivery Service for those Cocooning/Isolating too! We are living in strange times but let's stick together! Fanacht sábháilte!

Children's Book Festival 2020 with Cavan Library Service

The annual Children’s Book Festival helps spread the enjoyment of books and reading among children and families, authors and illustrators, teachers and librarians all over Ireland. Even though we are restricted this year we are undeterred and have invited 2 authors to deliver events straight into classrooms across Cavan. Authors Dave Rudden and Natasha Mac a’Bháird will present a fun talk for children which can be screened in every primary school in Cavan and were encouraging primary schools across Cavan to get involved and enjoy this virtual event. Individual schools can submit questions directly to the authors which will be answered during the virtual event and may even get a shout out for their school! All details on how to take part have been emailed to every Cavan Primary School - if you missed the email you can find more details on our events page!
